Split Chain is an English nu metal band formed in Bristol in 2023. The lineup consists of vocalist Roberto Martínez-Cowles, bassist Tom Davies, drummer Aaron Black, and guitarists Oli Bowles and Jake Reid. Their music blends elements of nu metal, shoegaze, and post-hardcore, which they refer to as "Dreamo." After a series of self-released singles, they signed with Epitaph Records and released their debut album, "motionblur," on July 11, 2025. The band draws inspiration from artists such as Deftones, Superheaven, and Narrow Head.
