Sprung aus den Wolken is a German band formed in 1980 in Berlin by Kiddy Citny. They were part of the "Geniale Dilletanten" movement alongside Einstürzende Neubauten and Mechanik Destrüktiw Komandöh. Their music blends elements of industrial, experimental, and Neue Deutsche Welle genres. Notable albums include "Dub and Die" (1981), "Pas Attendre" (1985), and "The Story of Electricity" (1987). Their track "Pas Attendre" was featured in Wim Wenders' film "Der Himmel über Berlin" (1987). The band is known for its minimalist approach and innovative sound.
