Stathis Karapanos is a Greek flutist born in 1996 in Athens. He studied at the National Conservatory in Athens and later at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, graduating with honors in 2018. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Christoph Eschenbach, and Valery Gergiev. As a chamber musician, he has performed with artists like Vilde Frang, Matthias Goerne, and Daniel Hope. In 2020, he received the "Leonard Bernstein Award" from the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival.
