Static-X is an American industrial metal band formed in 1994 in Los Angeles. Their 1999 debut album, "Wisconsin Death Trip," achieved platinum certification. Other notable albums include "Machine" (2001) and "Shadow Zone" (2003). The band is known for its unique sound that blends heavy metal with electronic elements. After the death of frontman Wayne Static in 2014, the band reunited in 2018 and released "Project Regeneration Vol. 1" in 2020, featuring Wayne Static's vocals from previously unreleased recordings.
