Steamhammer was an English rock band formed in 1968 in Worthing. Their debut album, "Steamhammer," was released in 1969 and featured the single "Junior's Wailing." This was followed by "Mk II" (1970), "Mountains" (1970), and "Speech" (1972). The band was known for their blues rock and progressive rock style. After disbanding in 1973, some members participated in other projects such as Armageddon and Renaissance. In 2020, Steamhammer reunited and released their fifth album, "Wailing Again," in 2022.
