Stéphane Galland is a Belgian jazz drummer and composer. Born in 1969, he began playing drums at the age of three. At nine, he started studying classical percussion at the conservatory in Huy. In 1992, he co-founded the group Aka Moon, which has released over 20 albums and performed worldwide. In 2012, he released his first solo album, "Lobi," featuring pianist Tigran Hamasyan. Galland is known for his ability to integrate various musical traditions into his unique style. He has collaborated with artists such as Joe Zawinul, Joe Lovano, and Ibrahim Maalouf.
