Stéphanie-Marie Degand is a French violinist and conductor, renowned for her ability to interpret repertoire spanning from the 17th century to contemporary works. She studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris under Jacques Ghestem, earning four first prizes. Degand has collaborated with conductors such as Emmanuel Krivine and François-Xavier Roth and served as concertmaster for Le Concert d'Astrée. In 2016, she founded the ensemble La Diane Française, focusing on French music. Her discography includes works from Monteverdi to Tanguy. Since 2012, she has been teaching at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
