Steps is a British pop group formed in 1997, consisting of Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, and Ian "H" Watkins. The group achieved 14 consecutive top 5 singles in the United Kingdom, including two number ones: "Heartbeat/Tragedy" and "Stomp". Their debut album, "Step One" (1998), reached number 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified 5× platinum. In 2000, they won a Brit Award for Best Selling Live Act. After disbanding in 2001, Steps reunited in 2011 and 2017, releasing additional albums such as "Tears on the Dancefloor" (2017) and "What the Future Holds" (2020).
