Description

"Alone in a World of Wounds" is Steve Von Till's seventh solo album, released on May 16, 2025. This album offers gothic-tinged Americana with ambient drones and slowly unfolding cello arrangements. Von Till, known from the band Neurosis, explores new vocal territories here, inspired by the resonance of piano and synthesizers. The album was recorded in his Idaho studio and mixed by producer Randall Dunn. The album cover was created by photographer Brian Deemy, who employs the "tintype" technique. "Alone in a World of Wounds" is available on CD, LP, and digitally.
