Sun Ra Arkestra is an American jazz ensemble founded by Sun Ra in the mid-1950s. The group is known for its avant-garde approach to jazz, blending swing, free jazz, and electronic elements. Notable albums include "Swirling" (2020) and "Living Sky" (2022). In 1983, they collaborated with Egyptian drummer Salah Ragab and the Cairo Jazz Band on the album "The Sun Ra Arkestra Meets Salah Ragab In Egypt".
