Sunlight was an American psychedelic rock band formed in 1968 in Long Beach, California. Originally known as Sunlights' Seven, the group consisted of Gary Young (lead vocals), Carl Estrella (lead guitar), Don Sain (rhythm guitar), Steve Montague (bass guitar), Jerry Griffin (keyboards, vocals), Bob Morgan (drums), and Ron Clark (percussion, flute, saxophone). In 1969, they released their sole album, "Creation of Sunlight," under the name Creation of Sunlight, which featured a blend of sunshine pop and acid rock. The album was initially released in a limited run of 500 copies and has become a sought-after collector's item. The band disbanded in 1971.
