Svetlana and the Delancey Five is a New York-based jazz ensemble led by Russian vocalist Svetlana Shmulyian. The group is renowned for their energetic performances in authentic speakeasy venues like the Back Room on the Lower East Side. Their 2016 album, "Night at the Speakeasy," produced by Grammy-winner Guy Eckstine, features special guest trombonist and vocalist Wycliffe Gordon. Svetlana earned a master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2015 and has collaborated with notable jazz musicians, including guitarists Randy Johnson and James Chirillo.
