Sweet Savage is a heavy metal band from Belfast, Northern Ireland, formed in 1979. Considered pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement, they have released albums such as "Killing Time" (1996), "Rune" (1998), and "Regeneration" (2011). Their song "Killing Time" gained fame through a cover by Metallica. Original guitarist Vivian Campbell later played in bands like Dio and Def Leppard. The band is known for its aggressive, fast-paced metal style infused with industrial elements and punk energy.
