Symarip was a British ska and reggae band formed in the late 1960s. Originally known as The Bees, they later changed their name to The Pyramids and eventually to Symarip. The band is considered one of the first to target the skinhead audience. Their most notable songs include "Skinhead Girl", "Skinhead Jamboree", and "Skinhead Moonstomp", which is based on Derrick Morgan's "Moon Hop". In 1980, "Skinhead Moonstomp" was re-released and reached number 54 on the UK Singles Chart. The band officially disbanded in 1985 after releasing the album "Drunk & Disorderly" under the name The Pyramids.
