Tad was an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1988 by Tad Doyle. They are considered one of the first bands of the grunge era. Their debut album, "God's Balls," was released in 1989 on Sub Pop. This was followed by "8-Way Santa" (1991), "Inhaler" (1993), and "Infrared Riding Hood" (1995). Their music combined grunge and alternative metal. The band disbanded in 1999. In 2013, members partially reunited for Sub Pop Records' 25th anniversary.
