Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder are American musicians who reunited after nearly sixty years to release the album "Get On Board: The Songs of Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee". Released in 2022, this album is a tribute to two Piedmont blues masters whose music inspired them from a young age. Taj Mahal contributed vocals, harmonica, guitar, and piano, while Ry Cooder played vocals, guitar, mandolin, and banjo. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in 2023.
