Takida is a Swedish rock band from Ånge, formed in 1999. The band's name originates from a mispronunciation of the character Gohee Takeda from the Japanese anime series Silver Fang. Their second album, "Bury the Lies" (2007), achieved platinum status in Sweden. Subsequent albums, such as "The Darker Instinct" (2009) and "The Burning Heart" (2011), also received platinum certifications. In 2024, they released "The Agony Flame," which reached number 12 on the Swedish album chart. The band is known for its post-grunge and alternative rock sound.
