Tassis Christoyannis is a Greek operatic baritone born in Piraeus in 1967. He studied conducting and composition at the Athens Conservatory and singing with Aldo Protti, winning the Aldo Protti Gold Medal in 1994. He was a member of the Greek National Opera and later performed with the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. Christoyannis is known for his recordings of French mélodies with American pianist Jeff Cohen, primarily for the Palazzetto Bru Zane and Aparté labels. Notable recordings include "Félicien David: Melodies" (2014), "Edouard Lalo: Complete Songs" (2016), and "Saint-Saëns: Mélodies" (2016).
