Taste was an Irish blues rock band formed in 1966 in Cork by guitarist Rory Gallagher. The band released two studio albums: "Taste" (1969) and "On the Boards" (1970), as well as a live album "Live Taste" (1971). Their music combined blues roots with rock elements, influencing many later musicians. After Taste disbanded in 1970, Rory Gallagher pursued a successful solo career.
