Taxmeni is a Czech country band founded in 1970. Initially blending folk and bluegrass, they later developed a modern country style termed "military country." They released several albums, including the "Calamity Jane" series. During the normalization period, they were compelled to change their name to Krajánci and ceased activities in 1979. In the late 1980s, they resumed performing under their original name. The founding member and leader is Jaroslav Čvančara, with vocalist Vráťa Vyskočil as another key member.
