The Technik Folklore Ensemble was established in 1953 at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The ensemble comprises dance, vocal, and musical components, with members primarily being students and graduates of Bratislava's universities and secondary schools. Technik focuses on interpreting folklore from various regions of Slovakia, emphasizing the preservation of local and regional specifics. Throughout its existence, it has performed in over 35 countries worldwide and has received various awards at both domestic and international events.
