Textures is a Dutch progressive metalcore band formed in 2001 in Tilburg. Their debut album, "Polars" (2003), won the Essent Award for "Most Promising Act" in 2004. This was followed by "Drawing Circles" (2006), "Silhouettes" (2008), and "Dualism" (2011). The band is known for their unique sound that blends progressive metal with elements of metalcore and experimental music. In 2016, they released "Phenotype". After a farewell tour in 2017, they announced their disbandment but declared their return to the scene in 2023. The products available from the artist Textures include CDs, vinyls.
