Thärichens Tentett is a German jazz ensemble founded in 1999 by pianist and composer Nicolai Thärichen. The group is known for its innovative arrangements and blending jazz with German lyrics. Their 2012 album "An Berliner Kinder" features musical adaptations of poems by authors such as Hugo Ball and Joachim Ringelnatz, as well as an adaptation of Bach's "Arie der Wollust." The ensemble regularly collaborates with vocalist Michael Schiefel and saxophonist Jan von Klewitz. Their music is characterized by the fusion of traditional jazz elements with modern compositions.
