The Adolescents are an American punk rock band formed in 1979 in Fullerton, California. Considered pioneers of hardcore punk in Southern California, their 1981 debut album "Adolescents" features notable tracks like "Amoeba" and "Kids of the Black Hole". Throughout the 1980s, they underwent several lineup changes and released albums "Brats in Battalions" (1987) and "Balboa Fun*Zone" (1988). After multiple breakups and reunions, they released "OC Confidential" in 2005. Following the death of founding member Steve Soto in 2018, they continued producing music, releasing their eleventh album, "Caesar Salad Days", in July 2023.
