The Andrews Sisters were an American vocal trio consisting of sisters LaVerne, Maxene, and Patty Andrews. Originating from Minneapolis, they rose to fame in the 1930s and 1940s. Their first major hit, "Bei Mir Bist Du Schön," released in 1937, sold over a million copies. During World War II, they frequently performed for troops through USO tours, significantly boosting soldier morale. Their repertoire included swing, boogie-woogie, and gospel, recording over 600 songs. Notable tracks include "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Rum and Coca-Cola." After LaVerne's death in 1967, Maxene and Patty briefly continued as a duo before disbanding in 1968.
