The Backseat Lovers is an American rock band formed in Provo, Utah, in 2018. The group consists of Joshua Harmon (vocals, guitar), Jonas Swanson (guitar), Juice Welch (drums), and KJ Ward (bass guitar). Their 2019 debut album, "When We Were Friends," features the single "Kilby Girl," which reached number 39 on the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. In 2022, they released their second album, "Waiting to Spill," under Capitol Records. The band is known for their alternative rock sound and energetic live performances.
