The Barr Brothers is a Canadian indie folk band formed in Montreal in 2006 by brothers Brad (guitar, vocals) and Andrew Barr (drums, percussion, vocals, keyboards). The lineup also includes bassist Morgan Moore, pedal steel guitarist Brett Lanier, and harpist Eveline Gregoire-Rousseau. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2011, reached number 63 on the Canadian charts. This was followed by "Sleeping Operator" (2014) and "Queens of the Breakers" (2017), both nominated for the Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year. The band is known for its unique blend of indie folk and delta blues, often featuring the harp as a central instrument in their arrangements.
