The Boneshakers are an American musical group formed in 1997 under the leadership of guitarist Randy Jacobs, known from the band Was (Not Was). The group is renowned for their unique blend of blues, soul, and rock, evident in albums like "Book of Spells" and "Shake the Planet". In 2020, vocalist Jenny Langer joined the band, bringing new energy to their music. Their 11th album, "Live To Be This", released in July 2025, features collaborations with artists such as Charlie Musselwhite, Bobby Rush, and Don Was. Throughout their career, the band has collaborated with legends like Bonnie Raitt, BB King, and Stevie Wonder.
