The Boston Camerata is an early music ensemble based in Boston, Massachusetts, founded in 1954 by Narcissa Williamson. The group specializes in performing music from the Middle Ages to the early Baroque period, with a repertoire that also includes American spirituals and Shaker songs. Notable recordings include "Tristan & Iseult," "Simple Gifts," and "A Medieval Christmas." The ensemble received the Grand Prix du Disque in 1989 for "Tristan & Iseult."
