The Chats are an Australian punk rock band formed in 2016 in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Eamon Sandwith, guitarist Josh Hardy, and drummer Matt Boggis. They are known for their "shed rock" style and lyrics about Australian culture. Their debut album, "High Risk Behaviour," was released in 2020, featuring tracks like "Smoko" and "Pub Feed." In 2022, they released their second album, "Get Fucked." The band won the AIR Award for Best Independent Punk Album or EP in 2021 for "High Risk Behaviour."
