The Chimes were a British dance music trio from Edinburgh, Scotland, active in the early 1990s. The group consisted of vocalist Pauline Henry, Mike Peden, and James Locke. Their sole studio album, 'The Chimes', was released in 1990 and featured hits like 'Heaven' and a cover of U2's 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For', which reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. The album achieved silver certification in the United Kingdom and gold in Australia. After the group's disbandment, Pauline Henry pursued a solo career, achieving several hits in the UK Top 40.
