The Christians are a British musical ensemble from Liverpool, formed in 1985 by brothers Garry, Russell, and Roger Christian, along with Henry Priestman. Their 1987 debut album, "The Christians," featured five singles that reached the UK Top 40, including "Forgotten Town" and "Ideal World." Their second album, "Colour," released in 1990, topped the UK Albums Chart and included the hit "Words." Their music blends elements of soul, pop, and rock. In 1988, they released a cover of The Isley Brothers' "Harvest for the World" for charity.
