The Cinematic Orchestra is a British music group formed in 1999 by Jason Swinscoe and Dominic Smith. The group is known for blending jazz, electronic, and downtempo music. They have released four studio albums: "Motion" (1999), "Every Day" (2002), "Ma Fleur" (2007), and "To Believe" (2019). Additionally, they have created soundtracks for the films "Man with a Movie Camera" (2003) and "The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos" (2009). Collaborators include Moses Sumney, Roots Manuva, and Heidi Vogel. Their track "To Build a Home" has been featured in various films and television shows.
