The Collectors was a Canadian psychedelic rock band active in the 1960s. Originally known as C-FUN Classics, the group renamed itself The Collectors in 1966. Members included Howie Vickers (vocals), Bill Henderson (guitar, keyboards), Claire Lawrence (saxophone, flute), Glenn Miller (bass guitar), and Ross Turney (drums). Their debut album, 'The Collectors', was released in 1968 and featured tracks like 'Lydia Purple'. In 1969, they released 'Grass and Wild Strawberries'. After Vickers' departure in 1969, the remaining members reformed as Chilliwack. The products available from the artist The Collectors include CDs.
