The Comet Is Coming was a London-based band that blended elements of jazz, electronica, funk, and psychedelic rock. The trio consisted of saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings (King Shabaka), keyboardist Dan Leavers (Danalogue), and drummer Max Hallett (Betamax).
