The Coral is an English rock band formed in 1996 in Hoylake, Merseyside. Their 2002 debut album, 'The Coral', featuring the single 'Dreaming of You', was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. The follow-up album, 'Magic and Medicine' (2003), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. Their music blends elements of indie rock, psychedelic folk, and neo-psychedelia.
