The original lineup consisted of Robin Dallaway (vocals, guitar), The Shend (vocals, bass guitar), Svor Naan (saxophone), and Dave Bennett (drums). The band is known for their unique sound that blends punk with avant-garde elements and prominent use of saxophone. Notable albums include "The Cravats in Toytown" (1980) and "The Colossal Tunes Out" (1983).
