The Dave Liebman Group was a jazz ensemble from the USA, led by saxophonist Dave Liebman. Active from 1991 to 2012, they released nearly 20 albums, including "Songs for My Daughter" (1995) and "Earth" (2020). Their music encompassed jazz standards, operatic arias, and original compositions in styles ranging from world music to free jazz. Liebman collaborated with European musicians like Joachim Kühn and Paolo Fresu and performed with orchestras such as the WDR in Cologne. In 2011, he was honored as an NEA Jazz Master.
