The Diamonds are a Canadian vocal quartet that rose to prominence in the 1950s. The original members were Dave Somerville (lead), Ted Kowalski (tenor), Phil Levitt (baritone), and Bill Reed (bass). The group was known for interpreting rhythm and blues songs in a pop style, bringing the genre to a wider audience. Their biggest hits include "Little Darlin'", "The Stroll", and "Silhouettes". Throughout their career, they earned three gold records and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the Doo-Wop Hall of Fame. The group continues to perform with new members, preserving the legacy of the original lineup.
