The Emotions are an American girl group from Chicago, renowned for their unique family harmonies and contributions to R&B and soul music. Their 1969 debut album, "So I Can Love You," featured the hit single of the same name, which reached No. 3 on the Best Selling Soul Singles chart. In 1971, they released "Untouched," which included the successful single "Show Me How." Their 1976 album "Flowers," produced by Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire, achieved Gold certification and featured hits like "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love." In 1977, they won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group, or Chorus for "Best of My Love."
