The Fireballs were an American rock and roll band formed in 1957 in Raton, New Mexico. The original lineup consisted of George Tomsco (lead guitar), Chuck Tharp (vocals), Stan Lark (bass guitar), Eric Budd (drums), and Dan Trammell (rhythm guitar). The band recorded at Norman Petty's studio in Clovis, New Mexico. Among their most notable tracks are "Torquay" (1959) and "Sugar Shack" (1963).
