The Furrow Collective is an English-Scottish band comprising Lucy Farrell, Rachel Newton, Emily Portman, and Alasdair Roberts. Formed in 2013, the group focuses on interpreting traditional songs from England and Scotland. Their debut album, "At Our Next Meeting," was released in 2014, followed by the EP "Blow Out the Moon" in 2015 and the album "Wild Hog" in 2016. In 2017, they were awarded "Best Group" at the BBC Radio Two Folk Awards. Their music is characterized by harmonious vocals and acoustic instruments, and they have collaborated with musicians such as Alex Neilson and Stevie Jones.
