The Guess Who is a Canadian rock band formed in 1965 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They achieved their greatest success in the late 1960s and early 1970s under the leadership of singer and keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman. Their most notable songs include "American Woman," "These Eyes," and "No Time." During this period, they released eleven studio albums, all of which charted in Canada and the United States. Their 1970 album "American Woman" reached No. 1 in Canada and No. 9 in the U.S. The band was the first Canadian rock group to achieve widespread success in the United States while maintaining their Canadian identity.
