The Highwaymen were an American country supergroup composed of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. Formed in 1985, they released three studio albums: "Highwayman" (1985), "Highwayman 2" (1990), and "The Road Goes On Forever" (1995). Their debut album featured the hit "Highwayman," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The group was known for their contribution to country music and the collaboration between these four legendary artists.
