The Honorary Title was an American alternative indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, active from 2002 to 2009. The band released their debut album, "Anything Else but the Truth," in 2004, followed by "Scream & Light Up the Sky" in 2007. Their music blended elements of indie rock and alternative rock. After the band's dissolution in 2009, frontman Jarrod Gorbel pursued a solo career and later formed the band Night Terrors of 1927.
