The Lennon Sisters are an American vocal group that first gained fame in 1955 on The Lawrence Welk Show. Originally consisting of sisters Dianne, Peggy, Kathy, and Janet Lennon, they have recorded over 20 albums and more than 100 singles, including hits like "Tonight You Belong to Me" and "Sad Movies (Make Me Cry)". Their musical style encompasses pop and folk. The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001, and their career is documented in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
