The Maccabees are an English indie rock band formed in London in 2004. They released four studio albums: "Colour It In" (2007), "Wall of Arms" (2009), "Given to the Wild" (2012), and "Marks to Prove It" (2015). Their third album, "Given to the Wild," reached number four on the UK Albums Chart and was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2012. The band disbanded in 2017 but announced their reunion in October 2024, with plans to perform at the All Points East festival in August 2025.
