The March Violets are an English post-punk/gothic rock band formed in 1981 in Leeds. Original members included Rosie Garland (vocals), Tom Ashton (guitar), Simon Denbigh (vocals), and Laurence "Loz" Elliot (bass guitar). The band was known for using a drum machine and achieved success with singles like "Crow Baby," "Snake Dance," and "Walk Into the Sun." After disbanding in 1987, they reunited in 2010, releasing albums "Made Glorious" (2013), "Mortality" (2015), and "Crocodile Promises" (2024).
