The Mint Chicks were a New Zealand noise rock and art punk band formed in Auckland in 2001. The group consisted of brothers Kody and Ruban Nielson, Paul Roper, and Michael Logie. They released three studio albums: "Fuck the Golden Youth" (2005), "Crazy? Yes! Dumb? No!" (2006), and "Screens" (2009). Their second album won five awards at the 2007 New Zealand Music Awards, including Best Rock Album and Album of the Year. The band was known for their energetic and unpredictable live performances.
