empty cell The Missfits
The Missfits were a British all-female beat group from Blackpool, active in the 1960s. The band comprised five musically talented schoolgirls: drummer Janet Baily, bassist Pauline Moran, and guitarists Andrea Hine, Carola Daish, and Liz Hall. Their repertoire included covers of American R&B songs such as John Lee Hooker's 'Dimples' and Bo Diddley's 'You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover'. In 1964, they won a recording test in a talent competition and recorded four tracks, which were released on the 'Meet The Missfits' EP in 2023. The group was known in clubs around Blackpool and Manchester but did not release any recordings during their active years. The products available from the artist The Missfits include vinyls.
